Dominoes: Classic Dominos Game

What this dominoes game is and who it suits

This is a free dominoes board game for phones and tablets, built around three classic variants: All Fives, Block and Draw. It can be played alone against computer opponents or online against other people.

The listing presents it as suited to casual players and newcomers, with hints in All Fives for people learning the game. Google Play shows a 4.7 average from 255,421 ratings and more than 10,000,000 installs.

How the All Fives, Block and Draw modes differ

In All Fives, you score when the open ends of the board add up to a multiple of five, so you count pips at each end after every play. The hints are aimed at helping beginners follow that scoring.

Draw dominoes has you match a tile to one of the two open ends, and if you have no playable tile you draw. The round winner scores the total pips left on the other player's tiles. Block dominoes rewards planning: if you cannot play a tile on your turn, you miss that turn.

Playing offline against AI or online with friends

Offline play runs against AI opponents and needs no internet connection or wifi. The listing describes these opponents as enhanced, and they are the option for practising a variant without going online.

For online games, a lobby lets you invite friends or join open matches against random real players. You can chat and send emojis during matches, and you can place tiles on the same board as the other players in real time.

Board themes and tile designs

The app includes a selection of board themes and domino tile designs that you can switch between. These are the customisation options the listing mentions, alongside the choice of game mode.
