DragonVale is a Simulation game in which you breed, hatch and collect dragons and build a park for them in the sky. The listing says there is no combat in it, and it describes the play as raising dragons rather than fighting them. It is rated All ages.
The listing presents the game as the one that introduced floating islands and rare hybrid breeds to the dragon genre. It suits people who want to collect and care for creatures at their own pace rather than battle through levels.
You pick two dragons to breed, then wait for an egg to appear. The egg hatches in the Nursery, and the baby grows into an adult over time. Each dragon has its own element, art and personality, so a hatchling is not a copy of the parents.
