What kind of game this is

Duck Detective: Secret Salami is an adventure game built around a story and a set of puzzles. You play Eugene McQuacklin, a struggling duck detective whose job is to get to the bottom of a salami conspiracy. The listing describes it as a comedy puzzle adventure and gives it an all ages content rating.

Finding clues and working through puzzles

The listing names two core activities: searching for hidden clues and solving puzzles. Eugene's reasoning is how you connect what you find to the case. The listing calls this duck-detective reasoning, and it is the thing the game asks you to use to expose the truth.

The salami plot and the comic tone

The case at the centre of the game is a sinister salami conspiracy. The story is presented as comedy, and the listing leans on duck puns, including the wordplay in its name for Eugene's method. The puzzles and the jokes sit together in the same investigation.

Playing free levels before unlocking the full game

The first two levels are free to play, which the listing puts at about 10 minutes of gameplay. To keep going past them, you unlock the full game. The free part lets you judge the story and puzzle style before any unlock.
