DWG FastView-CAD Viewer&Editor is a mobile program for opening and working on CAD drawings on Android. It handles 2D drawings in DWG and DXF, and 3D models from mechanical and BIM software. The listing describes it as CAD work done on the go: opening a file, taking a measurement, making a correction, then sending the result on.

Viewing and editing sit in the same app, so a drawing can be opened, changed and saved without moving it to another program.

Opening 2D drawings and 3D models

DWG and DXF files open in all DXF and DWG versions, with no file-size limit according to the listing. Browsing covers more than 30 3D formats, among them RVT, SLDPRT, SLDASM, ASM, PRT, STP and STEP. Advanced editing and some advanced tools are part of the Premium upgrade, sold as Premium/Super monthly or annual subscriptions.

Exporting, converting and sharing drawings

Drawings export to PDF, BMP, JPG and PNG. For PDF, paper size, orientation and color can be set. Files can also be saved as a different DWG or DXF version, and the listing says a PDF can be converted back into DWG.

Finished files can be sent to anyone from within the app.

Working offline and syncing with cloud storage

No registration is needed to start, and the listing says a drawing can be saved to a local workspace without an internet connection. Drawings can also be opened from email attachments, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, Box or WebDAV network drives. When online, they can be edited and shared from there.

The listing says drawings sync to the cloud from several devices at once. Fonts and symbol files can be placed in the font folder so that uncommon fonts display correctly.
