Evolutions that raise player stats and change item looks
Rewards from Champions, Division Rivals and Squad Battles

What the companion does for an Ultimate Team Club

The app is a mobile companion for Ultimate Team in EA SPORTS FC 27. It works alongside a Club you have already built in the full game on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch, and it does not run without that game, which is sold separately.

The listing says the game sells optional virtual currency, and that some of the items it buys are random selections. Connecting the companion needs an EA Account and an Internet connection, and network fees may apply.

Finishing squad building challenges on your phone

Squad Building Challenges, or SBCs, ask you to hand in specific Player Items to unlock new players, packs or customisation options. The companion lets you take on these challenges from your phone, using the items already in your Club.

This suits players who want to clear SBCs without opening the full game every time.

Using Evolutions to upgrade and customise players

Evolutions apply to players in your Club. They raise the stats of the players you choose, which affects how they play in matches.

Evolutions can also enhance Player Items with cosmetic changes. Those change how an item looks and do not alter its stats.

Claiming Champions, Division Rivals and Squad Battles rewards

The companion lets you collect rewards for progress in Champions, Division Rivals, Squad Battles and Ultimate Team Events. You do not need to log into your console or PC to do it.

Rewards you have earned can be claimed from the phone, which is useful when the game is not open.

Trading players on the Transfer Market

The Transfer Market section lets you buy and sell players from your phone. Trades are made with the global Ultimate Team community, not only with friends.

To link everything, you create a Club in Ultimate Team mode in the full game, set a security question and answer on your platform, then log in with your EA Account inside the companion.
