The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Elyx VPN for mobile internet

By Kelvin Ooi

Security and privacy editor

Starts a VPN connection with one tap and does not require registration, according to the listing.
Split mode handles traffic for individual apps rather than treating every app the same way.
Supports connections through mobile operators, modems and hotspots.
The developer says it supports modern protocols, but does not name them.
Listed as free. The listing does not explain whether there are ads or paid options.

A VPN and proxy for everyday connections

Elyx VPN is a mobile VPN and proxy app for connecting to the internet through a VPN tunnel. It is aimed at people who want to turn that connection on without creating an account or navigating a long setup, according to the listing.

The app offers Russian and English interface languages. Its one-tap connection is the main way the listing describes getting started. The developer presents it for use on mobile internet as well as other everyday connections.

Route selected apps separately

Split mode lets a person handle VPN routing on an app-by-app basis. This can be useful when only some apps should use the VPN connection, rather than applying one routing choice to everything on the device.

The listing does not explain how to set up split mode or whether it works by including apps or excluding them. It also does not describe additional controls for choosing what traffic goes through the tunnel.

Connection options and data protection

The developer says Elyx VPN supports current VPN protocols, but does not name them or say whether users can choose between them. The listing also advertises data protection through the connection, without specifying its encryption methods or other technical details.

The service is described as supporting mobile operators, modems and hotspots. That gives it a stated use beyond a phone's direct mobile connection. The developer also claims it can keep working with a weak signal, but provides no conditions or limits for that claim.

What the listing says about access

The listing describes Elyx VPN as free and says registration is not required. It does not mention a subscription or paid unlock, but also does not explain whether the app contains ads or offers paid options.

There is no detail about data limits, the names of supported protocols, how server locations are chosen, or what connection and privacy information is retained. The listing calls the service a VPN and proxy, but does not explain when each type of connection is used.
