What the Erste banking app covers

Erste is the mobile app for customers of Erste Bank Polska. It is built around the everyday tasks of a current account: seeing what is in it, moving money, paying by card or BLIK, and keeping an eye on the products the bank has given you.

Beyond the core banking screens, the listing says it also reaches the bank's wider range, including Erste Open and the Erste Exchange, and lets you set how the app addresses you and which wallpaper it shows.

Balances, transfers and card payments

The home screen shows your account balance. From there you can make transfers, including instant transfers and standing orders that repeat on a schedule. The listing also names BLIK and contactless payments as part of the app.

Your products sit in the same place, so you can open a card or account from the app rather than through a separate service. Card details, such as the number and expiry, can be checked in the app as well.

Hiding your balance and watching for activity

Discreet Mode is switched on with the eye icon on the home screen. It hides your balance for situations where someone nearby could read the screen, such as on public transport. The listing gives a tram as its example.

Alerts24 sends notifications about activity on your account and card. A quick balance preview lets you see the balance without opening the full account view.

Tracking spending, subscriptions and fees

Financial Coach draws a chart of your spending and income so you can see both sides of the account at once. Subscriptions adds up what you pay each month across the services you have signed up to.

Price advisor shows how far you are from paying 0 PLN for the Smart Account and for the monthly card fee, based on the figures the listing describes.

Paying for transport, top-ups and insurance

You can pay for parking and motorway tolls, and buy public transport tickets, without leaving the app. Top-ups are available for games, movies, music and office apps.

Insurance information is kept in the app, including policy numbers and the periods each policy covers.
