What Find the Alien 2 is and who it suits

Find the Alien 2 is the second game in the series. Aliens are moving through history to replace people with their own kind, and the player travels between eras to find them and stop the invasion. The story is new for this part.

It suits players who like hidden-object hunts with a shooting finish. Each stage is a scene you study before you act, so it works as a spot-the-difference game as much as an action game.

Scanning scenes to find disguised aliens

On arrival in a new place, the player scans everything in view with the UFO scanner. The developer says aliens can take the form of people, animals or ordinary objects, so the scan is how you learn where they are.

The scanner marks where an alien was seen, so the player can return to that spot later. The listing describes this as remembering where you saw an alien, which matters once the scene gets crowded.

Shooting aliens with the blaster

After scanning, the player uses the blaster to kill the aliens they have located. The listing describes the blaster as the only way to remove them.

Difficulty rises as the number of aliens grows, and the aliens start to move. A stage becomes a chase, not a still search. Shooting a real person or animal counts as a failure, so the player has to be sure of a target before firing.
