Flat Equalizer - Bass Booster

What this Android equalizer app is for

Flat Equalizer is an Android sound app for changing how audio played on the phone actually sounds. Its main tool is a 10-band equalizer, with bass boost, a virtualizer and reverb alongside it. The listing presents it for people who listen through headphones or a speaker and want more control than the phone's default sound gives them.

The app is built around sound adjustment rather than playback. You set the tone and level, then play music or video in whichever player you already use.

Adjusting tone with the 10-band equalizer

The equalizer splits the sound into ten frequency bands, and each band has its own slider. Raising or lowering a single band changes only that part of the sound, so you can soften a harsh treble range or add weight to a thin mix without touching the rest. The listing also lists slider volume and audio control as a separate feature for finer level adjustment.

Bass boost and loudness for headphones and speakers

The bass booster is listed for both headphones and speakers, so it covers the two most common ways people listen on a phone. A loud speaker booster and a sound amplifier raise the overall output for when the phone's own volume is not enough. These are the controls you would reach for on a quiet track or a low-output speaker.

Virtualizer and reverb effects

The virtualizer widens the stereo image, so sound seems to come from more space around you than the two physical speakers or earcups provide. The reverb adds a room-like echo to the sound. The listing describes both as ways to make the audio more immersive, and they can be combined with the equalizer bands and bass boost.

Using it with your players and choosing a theme

The listing says the app works with all music and video players, so you keep your usual player and use Flat Equalizer to control the sound. The interface is a minimal flat layout that follows Google's Material Design guidelines, and it comes in dark and light themes.
