Flip Diving is a cliff diving game for Android. You launch a diver from a high point and try to land a clean entry into the water without hitting the rocks.
It suits players who enjoy physics-based stunts and short attempts they can repeat. The scoring of each dive is the point of the game, and the falls are the main event.
The game lists frontflips, backflips and gainers, along with layouts, pikes and reverses. The developer says more tricks are coming.
Each trick is animated with ragdoll physics, so a body reacts to its spin and landing as it falls. Unlocking new tricks and moves is part of the game.
Dives start from more than 50 jump platforms. These include high cliffs, rickety platforms, trees, castles, trampolines and boats.
Divers include a bodybuilder, a businessman and a penguin in costume. Each diver has its own abilities, weight and physics, and the developer says more divers will be added.
You can record your best dives or your biggest fails, then save and share those replays with friends. Replays are the way to show off a trick to other players.
The game runs offline and does not need an internet connection to play.
