Four is a buy now, pay later app for shopping at online retailers that work with it. At checkout you split the purchase into four payments. The first is due at the time of purchase, and the other three follow at two-week intervals.
The app suits people who want to buy something now and pay for it over several weeks rather than all at once. The listing presents it as a way to keep spending within a set budget.
Each purchase has a payment schedule that shows the date and amount of every installment. The listing says the due dates are fixed in advance, so you can see what is owed and when.
Payment reminders are sent ahead of each due date. Together with the schedule, they are the core of how the app is meant to help you stay on track with repayments.
The app has its own browsing area listing the partner retailers, so you can shop them without leaving Four. When you are ready to pay, a Pay with Four button sits at the bottom of the screen during checkout.
