Full Quran Sharif Offline App

What the app covers and who it is for

Full Quran Sharif Offline is an Android app for reading and listening to the Holy Quran. According to the developer, it offers the full Quran text with translation, audio and MP3 recitations, along with a Qibla finder and prayer tools.

The listing presents the translation and audio as the main draw for readers who are not fluent in Arabic and want to follow the meaning. The Qibla, prayer and mosque tools are aimed at Muslims who want daily religious tools in the same app.

The app is listed in the Books & Reference category. Its features fall into three groups: reading the text, listening to recitations, and prayer and location tools.

Reading the Quran with translation side by side

The translation feature lets a reader pick a language and view it on the same screen as the Quran text. The listing names English, Urdu, Hindi and Bengali, and says more languages are included.

Because the translation sits beside the original text, a reader can compare the Arabic with the translated meaning without switching screens. The developer describes this as most useful for readers who do not know Arabic well.

Listening to Quran audio and MP3 recitations

The audio feature plays Quran recitations from a choice of reciters. The listing presents the recitations as MP3 Quran files.

Playback continues in the background, so audio can keep running while other apps are open on the phone. The developer names driving, exercising and other everyday activities as the situations it suits.

Finding a passage by topic, Surah or Para

The topic search lets a reader type a subject and go straight to the matching point in the Quran. It is the listing's way of finding a passage without knowing its Surah or verse number.

For direct access, the Quran index lists every Surah and every Para (Juz). Either can be opened from the index, which the listing says makes it easy to recite a chosen Surah or Para.

Prayer times, Qibla and the Hijri calendar

The Qibla finder works as a compass that shows the direction of Mecca. The listing advises placing the phone on a flat surface to get the most exact reading.

Prayer times are shown for each daily prayer, and the listing says alarms can be set for each one as reminders. The Ramadan calendar detects the user's location and gives Sehar and Iftar timings for 30 days.

The Hijri calendar shows Gregorian and Hijri dates together. Forward and back buttons move between months, and the calendar converts a date from one system to the other. It also lists Islamic calendar events.

Finding nearby mosques and their distance

The Nearby Mosque Finder uses the user's current location to list mosques in the area. Each entry shows an address and distance, and the feature can navigate to a chosen mosque.

The developer suggests the feature suits travellers and people new to an area who are looking for a mosque to pray in or for local community contact.
