Story missions take place in several districts, from the French Quarter to the slums to the bayou. The listing says each district has its own feel and its own activities to find.
Because the districts differ in layout and atmosphere, missions in the bayou play out in a different setting from the city streets. The listing gives no more detail on how the districts differ mechanically.
Turf Wars is a gang vs. gang mode, described as exclusive to this game. You defend your own turf against rival crime gangs and raid theirs.
Resources earned from these wars are used for later wars and for crafting new guns and items. The listing says those resources are free to gain, and it presents the mode as a way to fund your crafting.
The game has hundreds of guns and vehicles. You can equip them, fuse them together and evolve them to suit the way you want your character to fight and drive.
Crafting uses the resources from Turf Wars, so the two systems feed into each other. The listing notes that some items come as paid random items, and it states that the game contains in-app purchases.
Your gangster can be customized with a broad set of options, which the listing ties to your personal style. Separately, you can claim a private island and expand it into a large housing complex.
On the island you can show off a house, a vehicle collection and expensive boats, and build runways and helipads for getaways. The listing also says the app may show third-party advertisements that redirect to outside sites.
