This app allows you to use features when connected to a Gear IconX device.

This is a component of the Samsung Gear application, not a standalone program. It handles the Gear IconX side of things once a Gear IconX device is connected, and it will not run properly unless Samsung Gear is already installed.
It suits people who own a Gear IconX device and want to adjust its settings, see its status, load music onto it, or have the phone speak certain information to them through it.
Once connected, the app gives access to the Gear IconX device's settings and a status view that shows its current state. The listing describes these as the core controls for the device.
It also checks the device for version update information, so you can see whether the device has an update available.
Music files are stored on the phone's external storage and then sent to the Gear IconX device through the app's music transmission function. The listing does not name specific audio formats.
The voice notification feature reads out information from the phone through the device. The listing names three sources: the caller's details from contacts when a call comes in, the contents of incoming SMS messages, and entries from the schedule.
Because the alerts come from the phone's own contacts, messages and calendar, the feature only has something to announce when those sources hold the relevant information.
