Ready for the Gin Rummy Plus 21 card experience? Play Gin Rummy with friends!
Senior reviews editor
Gin Rummy Plus is a free card game for Android built around gin rummy. Most of the play is live and multiplayer, so it needs an internet connection. The listing describes it as an adult game with no real money gambling, and play uses chips and coins.
It suits people who want to sit down at a rummy table with other people, whether that means friends or players they have never met. Solo card puzzles are not the focus.
You play gin rummy live against other people, and the listing says the player pool runs to millions worldwide. You can invite friends to play with you, which the listing presents as the main way to play socially. The game also includes several lounges for different tables.
Leaderboards show where you stand against other players or against your friends. Competing against the board is the listing's main hook for the multiplayer side.
The game covers more than one form of rummy. The listing names rummy 21, gin rummy extra, the traditional tash wala game, and classic and regal rummy. These are offered alongside the standard gin rummy table.
Some rounds use different card types, including a higher or lower card format. This gives you a way to switch the rules without leaving the app.
Progressive jackpots build up in-game chip pots that are paid out on big wins. You can also earn coins through bonuses within the game. Chips and coins are used for play, and the listing says the game does not offer real money prizes.
In-app purchases are optional. They include paid random items, and drop rates for those items are shown in the game. If you want to turn purchases off, you can disable in-app purchases in your device's settings.
The build we hold is Gin Rummy Plus: Fun Card Game 10.0.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.
