The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Graphing Calculator + Math: scientific and graphing tool

By Hafiz Rahman

Editor, tools and utilities

Complex numbers, with every function accepting complex input
Symbolic derivatives of trig and other functions
Binary, octal and hex numbers with 0b, 0o and 0x prefixes
Hyperbolic and inverse functions reached by holding keys
Scientific and engineering notation, switched on in the menu
Calculation history you can save and load again

What the app is and who it suits

Graphing Calculator + Math is a scientific calculator that runs on an Android phone or tablet, with algebra built in. The developer positions it as a replacement for a handheld graphing calculator, aimed at high school, college and graduate students, and at anyone who needs more than a basic calculator offers.

The free version needs an internet connection and shows ads. The listing also offers a PRO upgrade. A help site with instructions and examples is linked from the listing.

Roots, powers, logarithms and trig functions

Square roots, cube roots and higher roots are entered by holding the root key, and powers through a dedicated x^ key. Logarithms are available as natural log, base 10 log and log with a custom base.

Trigonometric functions accept values in radians or degrees, including inputs such as π/2 and 30°. Hyperbolic functions such as sinh, cosh and tanh are reached by holding the e key, and inverse functions by holding the key for the direct function.

Complex numbers and derivatives

The calculator handles complex numbers, and the listing says every function accepts complex arguments, so the same operations work on complex inputs as on real ones.

Derivatives are calculated symbolically. The listing gives sin x returning cos x as an example, reached by holding the x^ key. Results are shown as expressions, not decimal approximations.

Number bases, percent mode and notation settings

Numbers can be entered and read in binary, octal and hexadecimal, using the 0b, 0o and 0x prefixes. Percent mode is a separate calculation mode, and scientific and engineering notation can be turned on from the menu.

Calculation history can be saved and loaded again, so earlier results can be reused without retyping them.
