Grubhub: Food Delivery

What Grubhub is for

Grubhub is a food delivery app for ordering restaurant meals, groceries and alcohol to be brought to you. It lists hundreds of thousands of restaurants, from independent places near you to national chains.

The developer presents it as suited to family dinners, hosting friends and placing group orders. It is aimed at people who order delivery or takeout on a regular basis.

Ordering from local restaurants and chains

Restaurant listings cover local places alongside chains such as Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Popeyes, Burger King, Chipotle and Panda Express. Other chains named by the developer include Dunkin', Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wings, Wendy's, Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, Arby's, Panera Bread and Shake Shack.

Fee waiver on restaurant orders over $50

Restaurant orders above $50 carry no delivery fee and no service fee, according to the listing. The developer describes this as a way to order for a family, a group of friends or a gathering without adding fees at checkout.

The waiver is stated only for restaurant orders over $50, so smaller restaurant orders are not covered by it as described.

Grocery and alcohol orders, plus regular-customer deals

Besides restaurant food, the app takes grocery orders and alcohol orders from places near you. The developer also offers exclusive deals to regular users.
