Guarding Vision is a video surveillance software

Editor, tools and utilities
Guarding Vision is a companion app for security camera systems. The listing says it works with DVRs, NVRs and IP cameras that support Cloud P2P, which is the connection the app uses to reach a device away from home or the office. It suits people who already own one of those recorders or cameras and want to check on them from a phone.
Setup starts with creating an account in the app and adding your device to it. Once a device is on the account, its live view, recordings and alerts are all reached through that same account.
The build we hold is Guarding Vision 6.13.890.0909 (APKS split bundle) for Android 8.0 and up.

The live view shows real-time video from the cameras attached to your device. Because the connection runs through Cloud P2P, the listing says you can view these cameras remotely rather than only on the local network. It describes this as working on a global scale, which means the device itself has to be online and reachable.
Playback lets you go back through video that the DVR, NVR or IP camera has already recorded. The listing describes this as a way to search through recorded footage for a particular moment. Playback depends on the recorder keeping footage, so what you can review is limited to what the device has stored.
When a device's motion detection alarm goes off, the app sends an instant message notification to your phone. This means you can learn about activity without keeping the live view open. The alert is triggered by the device, so motion detection has to be set up and working on the recorder or camera for alerts to arrive.
