What kind of game this is

Happy Vikings FREE is a game that mixes platforming with block puzzles. The theme is Viking raiding: your crew hits neighbouring lands, and the loot they bring back has to be moved and stacked to fit. It suits players who like puzzle games that have some action in them and a light sense of humour.

The loot is the core of play. You move each piece and arrange it so that matching items form combos and chains, which earn points.

Stacking loot into combos and chains

Arranging loot is where most of the play happens. Pieces have to be placed so they link into combos and chains, and the points come from those links. The listing also mentions special effects that play when big combos go off.

The aim is to build up a score and dominate the world map, not just clear a single screen.

Raids and the road to Valhalla

The game has 80 raids, each set in a different foreign land. Each one is a stage where you bring a load of plunder back to your dragonship and stack it. The stated goal is to prove your strength and earn entry through the Gates of Valhalla as a Happy Viking.

Progress runs through the raids in order, so the raid count sets how much there is to play through.

Runes and favours from the gods

Alongside the stacking, you can combine ancient runes to earn favours from the Nordic gods of old. The listing presents this as a second layer of progress that sits on top of the raids and points.

Runes and favours give the stacking a reason beyond the score on each screen.

Free play with ads and the soundtrack

The listing describes the game as free, with the full feature set available and ads shown during play. The soundtrack is Hard Rock, which the developer pitches as the music for its Viking theme.

The game is rated USK: All ages, so it is listed for players of any age.
