Play ProtectThe toughest prison sim in the yard is back to serve its 3rd sentence!

Hard Time III is a prison simulator in which you try to last as long as possible inside a large facility. The listing says hundreds of other prisoners are going about their own routines at the same time as you, so the yard keeps moving whether you act or not. It carries a PEGI 18 rating, and it suits players who want a rough, open-ended life sim with fighting and shooting built in.
The game is the third in its series. The listing presents it as a sequel with more of everything rather than a reset, so anyone who knows the earlier entries will find the same basic setup.
A dialogue system lets you start conversations with other prisoners. The listing describes it as a way to build relationships before tension turns into a fight, so talking is one of the main ways to affect how the yard treats you.
Because the other prisoners act through the day in real time, conversations and relationships happen against a background that does not pause. The listing does not describe how those relationships change over time beyond this.
The fighting uses a combat system that the developer says is based on wrestling, so the hands are the default way to fight. When you want more than that, hundreds of props can be held in either hand and used as tools or as weapons.
Guns are part of the same system. The listing says you can shoot at any moment rather than only at set points in a scene. A crafting system sits alongside the fighting and gunplay, and the listing describes it as the way you make items during play. The developer says the game never runs out of things to try.
The police role swaps the view from the inside to the outside. You keep the existing prisoners in order and patrol the streets to find new ones. The listing presents this as a second campaign-style role, not a minor side activity.
The outside world is larger than the facility. The listing mentions a wider range of vehicles and animals to travel through it with, which is how the game reaches the streets for both roles.
The developer lists higher resolution 3D visuals, a smoother frame rate than the earlier games, and a wider set of camera angles. The listing says the camera options are meant for cinematic moments, so you can frame fights and scenes from several viewpoints.
These are the developer's own descriptions of the visual changes. They are not something this page has checked.
The build we hold is Hard Time III 1.1.7 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.1 and up.
