HAwake: Voice Assist for HA

Transform old Tablets, Phones, or Wall Panels into a dedicated Home Assistant Voice satellite.




Give old devices a new purpose: HAwake is ideal for wall-mounted panels or repurposing older hardware. It allows you to control your smart home entirely hands-free using custom wake words. Designed with privacy and performance in mind, it integrates directly with Home Assistant's Assist pipeline or API.

◉ Smart Restrictions: Optionally restrict listening to your home Wi-Fi to prevent accidental triggers while away.




Requirements:

◉ A running Home Assistant instance.
◉ Android 8.0 or higher.
◉ (Optional) A Long-Lived Access Token from your HA profile.




Setup Instructions:

1. Open HAwake and complete the Setup Wizard.
2. Grant the necessary Permissions.
3. Enter your Home Assistant URL, Login or use a Token.
