🧟 Shhh… do you hear them?
That low groan in the dark. The shuffle of feet on dirt. They're not far now. A hundred of them. Maybe more. Walking out of the trees in a slow, steady line — heading straight for the only fire left burning for miles. Yours.
You've got meat to spend, heroes to summon, and one camp to defend. That's it. That's the plan.
Can you survive the night?
Hero Survival: Zombie Defense is a strategy survival game where every zombie you drop earns meat, every meat you spend summons a hero, and every hero you place on the grid is the difference between sunrise and silence.
🥩 MEAT IS YOUR LIFELINE
Every zombie that falls drops meat. Meat is the only currency that matters. Spend it to summon heroes onto the grid around your camp — cheap heroes for the early shuffle, expensive heroes for when the screen goes red. Spend too fast and you'll be empty when the boss arrives. Hoard too long and the camp takes the hit. Every wave is a meat math problem with zombies attached.
⚔️ SUMMON YOUR HEROES
A pistol gunner who shoots like he's late for something. An archer who treats every arrow like she's bored of being right. A cigar-chomping veteran with a rocket launcher and zero regard for collateral damage. Each hero costs meat, fights on its own, and covers a different angle. Unlock more as you push deeper. The roster grows. So does the horde.
🔀 MERGE TO EVOLVE
Drop two matching heroes on the same tile and they fuse into something the zombies will start having opinions about. Faster shots. More damage. Longer range. The grid is small. Every merge is a real decision — keep two mid-tier heroes for coverage, or stack them into one beast that does the work of three?
🏕️ DEFEND THE CAMP
Zombies don't flank. They don't think. They just walk in straight lines toward your fire. If one touches it, the run is over. No retreat. No revive. Just you, restarting, slightly smarter than last time.
🎴 ABILITY CARDS
Between waves you pick a card. Attack. Health. Fire. Extra meat. The right stack turns a doomed run into a clean sweep. The wrong stack is how you find out your boss has 800 HP and you brought a pocket knife.
💀 BOSS WAVES
Every few rounds the screen goes red. Something the size of a small building walks out of the trees holding an axe. The health bar is rude. It's not here to negotiate. Focus everything you have or watch it walk straight to your fire.
⚠️ DANGER WAVES
The Danger banner drops. The screen fills wall-to-wall with green. Hundreds of zombies. One camp. This is where your last forty decisions either pay off or don't, and the answer comes in about ninety seconds. The rewards if you push through are huge. The view if you don't is also pretty memorable.
🏰 EVERY RUN COUNTS
Even when the camp falls, you don't lose ground. Coins go into permanent upgrades — bigger meat reserves, faster regen, new hero unlocks, stronger starting loadouts. Failure isn't a setback. It's slow fuel toward becoming the player who doesn't lose anymore.
🎮 ONE FINGER. REAL DECISIONS.
Tap a hero card. Drop the hero on a tile. Merge when you can. Pick a card between waves. That's the whole control scheme. The depth lives in the decisions — when to summon, when to save, when to merge, when to gamble on a card. Easy to start. Hard to actually be good at.
If you've played hero survival, zombie defense, tower defense, or merge games — this is what happens when you mix all of them and pay the bills with corpses.
The horde is coming. The fire is small. Your heroes are waiting.
How long can you hold?
We're a small studio reading every review like it's our morning coffee. Tell us what's working, what's broken, and what hero we should add next. The next update probably depends on it.
