Ghostbusters Wave 2 has arrived in Heroes vs.
Senior reviews editor
Heroes vs Hordes: Survival RPG is a role playing game set in Midlantica, a land where a horde of monsters keeps coming. You pick a hero and try to hold them back for as long as you can.
The listing presents it as a roguelite action RPG, so the appeal is in repeated runs and real-time combat rather than slow progression. It is rated Everyone 10+.
Battles run in real time against waves of enemies that do not stop. The controls use one hand, and the listing says every dodge, upgrade and combo is chosen by the player, not run by auto-play.
Each run is a fresh attempt at the same kind of fight. Upgrades you pick during a run decide how long your hero lasts against the next wave.
Heroes come from four factions: warriors, mages, assassins and inventors. Each hero plays differently, so the choice of who to bring shapes the way you fight.
Loot and upgrades let you strengthen the heroes you already have. The listing describes the goal as improving your chances of survival through skill, upgrades and strategy.
The current event adds Ghostbusters content, including Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore as heroes, summonable Terror Dogs, and Ecto Goggles for spectral attacks. New story chapters are part of the same update.
The event also brings back Ghostbusters heroes, pets and weapons. The listing says this is the final event of the series, so those returning items can only be collected while it runs.
The build we hold is Heroes vs Hordes: Survival RPG 11.0.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.1 and up.
