Hi Kitty Nail Salon is a simulation game in which you run a nail spa and a nail design studio. Google Play lists it under Simulation with a PEGI 3 rating and over 100,000 installs. It is built around princess and beauty play, so it suits younger players who enjoy hands-on styling games.
Each round starts with choosing one of several differently colored hands to work on. The care steps follow in order: wash the hand, apply lotion, clip the nails and file them. Old polish comes off with nail polish remover before any new design goes on.
Once the nails are bare, the design stage opens. Players pick from nail polishes and nail sets, then add nail stickers, gems, rings and bracelets. The developer says these combinations add up to millions of possible looks.
Because the hand colors, polishes and decorations can be mixed freely, each customer can end up with a different finished set of nails. The game has no story or goals beyond the salon work itself, as far as the listing describes. The result depends on which choices the player makes at each stage.
