Hotels.com: Book Hotel Deals

Booking hotels worldwide on Hotels.com

Hotels.com is a hotel booking app for finding and reserving rooms in cities and resort areas around the world. The listing says it covers over 500,000 properties, ranging from budget motels and city-center rooms to beach resorts and 5-star luxury stays.

The core flow is search, compare and reserve. The listing describes booking as taking only a few taps once a hotel is chosen.

Member Prices and travel rewards

Membership is free to join, according to the listing. Members get Member Prices, which the listing says save up to 20% on select hotels, and earn rewards on eligible bookings.

Rewards can be used like cash toward a later stay, with no blackout dates. The listing also mentions mobile-exclusive deals that are only available inside the app.

Comparing hotels and tracking prices

The app lets you compare hotels side by side on one screen, so you can weigh location, room type and price before choosing. It can also send alerts when the price of a hotel you are watching drops.

Both features sit alongside the search, so a comparison or price check does not require leaving the booking flow.

Business travel and work trip bookings

Business travelers can save their travel preferences in the app, and the listing says those saved settings make booking work trips faster. The developer does not describe which preferences are saved beyond that.

Price shown at checkout and cancellation terms

The listing states that the price shown is the price paid, with no hidden fees. It also says free cancellation is available on most hotels.

Those cancellation terms are per hotel, so the policy for a specific stay is what the booking screen shows.
