What the app is for
Impulse is a brain training app with a second half that is self-assessment. It suits people who feel forgetful or unfocused and want structured practice with a record of how they are doing. The training covers four named areas, and the self-discovery tests cover how a person thinks, behaves and reads emotions.
The listing presents the two halves as one routine: games to practise daily, and tests to show which areas deserve the most attention.
Daily brain training games and the plan behind them
The app builds a daily training plan around memory and processing speed, attention and focus, mental math, and problem-solving. Each day's games are weighted toward whichever of these areas the plan says a person needs most.
The games are described as science-inspired. The developer says they are hard enough to keep improving and simple enough to play every day, for any age or skill level.
IQ, personality and emotional intelligence tests
The test library includes IQ tests that report cognitive strengths, personality tests that return a personality type and archetype, and tests for emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Results are the starting point for the rest of the app.
Each test comes with personalized recommendations about which areas to focus on and how to improve them. These recommendations feed back into the daily training plan.
Progress tracking and subscription terms
Progress is shown as performance trends over time, with insights rather than raw scores alone. Streaks and periodic progress reports are meant to keep daily practice going.
The listing offers a 3-day free trial with full access to all games and no ads. After that, a paid subscription renews automatically, and the fee is shown in the app before payment is charged to the Google Account at purchase. Auto-renewal can be turned off in Google Account Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
