Play ProtectThe official application of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.

Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
INGV Terremoti is the official app of Italy's National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. It is built around the earthquake data the institute publishes, mainly for Italian territory. Strong events elsewhere in the world are included too.
The app suits people who want to follow seismic activity in Italy, or who want to see the institute's measurements of recent quakes without going to a separate website. The listing is written in Italian.
Each earthquake entry shows its origin time, epicentre coordinates, depth and magnitude. These values come from INGV's seismic surveillance service, which the listing says runs 24 hours a day, every day.
The listing notes that these parameters can be revised as new data arrives. An entry shown early may therefore carry different values later.
Push notifications are switched on for earthquakes above magnitude 2.5. You can customize these notifications in the app.
Alerts cover both definitive locations and automatic ones. The listing gives a timeline for when each type of alert arrives, but the figures are not restated here.
Some sections of the app link to the INGVterremoti blog at ingvterremoti.com. The listing presents these as the scientific background to the earthquake information.
The blog content sits outside the app itself, so reading it takes you to the website.
The build we hold is INGV Terremoti 4.3.6 (APKS split bundle) for Android 5.0 and up.
