GPS Phone Tracker: Share live location to find kids & use as a family locator!
By Irfan Rosli
News editor
iSharing is a family location tracker for Android. It shows where family members are on a map and is aimed mainly at parents checking that children have got somewhere safely, though the developer also positions it for keeping track of relatives through the day and for groups meeting up in one place. The developer says it has offered location sharing since 2010.
The core features are free to use. A set of extras is listed separately as premium features, including longer location history, more place alerts, driving reports and removing ads. The developer states that the app is meant for mutual location sharing and should only be used with the consent of the people being tracked.
The build we hold is iSharing: GPS Location Tracker 12.19.0.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

Family members share their real-time position with the group, and anyone in the circle can open the map to see where everyone is. The developer says the app runs a foreground service so that location keeps updating while the app is in the background.
Place alerts work on named places such as home, school or work. The app sends a notification when someone arrives at or leaves a place, so a parent does not need to ask for a check-in. Unlimited place alerts are listed as a premium feature, which means the free version covers a set number of places.
A Panic Alert sends the sender's location to family along with an SOS notification. The premium SOS Sound Recording adds surrounding audio to those alerts.
The walkie-talkie feature sends voice messages inside the app, which the listing describes as a quick way to talk without switching to another service. Premium Low Battery Alerts tell you when a family member's device is running low, and premium Inactivity Alerts notify you when the app detects unusual inactivity, which the developer presents as a way to watch over older relatives.
A Meetup lets a group share live locations and use a group chat for a set period. People join with a QR code or a link, so the group does not need to exchange contact details or set up accounts in advance.
When the Meetup is over, location sharing stops automatically and the group connection is not kept. This suits a day out, a festival or a trip where a group needs to find each other and then stop sharing.
Find My Phone uses the app to locate a lost or stolen phone and follow it on the map. The premium list adds 365-day location history, so past positions can be reviewed for up to a year, plus 3D Street View for a closer look at a location.
Driving Reports cover trips, speeding, hard braking and phone use while driving. Linked Devices and the web app let iSharing be used across supported devices beyond the phone. Removing ads is also listed among the premium features.
