What Kahf Guard does and who it suits
Kahf Guard is an Android app for limiting adult content, gambling sites and distracting apps on a phone. It filters at the DNS level, so the listing says it needs no VPN and no browser extensions.
It suits people who want filtering that runs in the background, and parents who want blocks on adult sites and certain apps. The listing's summary also describes it as a parental control app.
Filtering adult sites, gambling and phishing
The DNS filter stops porn, adult content, gambling, phishing, malware and trackers before pages load. It applies across browsers and other apps. You choose a protection level: Strong, Moderate or Basic. The listing also says it blocks ads.
Search and video have their own settings. Safe Search is enforced on Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo, and YouTube Restricted Mode is switched on for age-appropriate content.
Blocking Reels, Shorts and TikTok
The Reels blocker cuts short-video feeds on social platforms without deleting accounts. You can block Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts. You can also block WhatsApp Status and Telegram Search, or block TikTok entirely.
Each platform has its own toggle, so one feed can stay blocked while another stays open.
Timed and scheduled app blocks
The app blocker has four modes. Quick Block shuts off any app for anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 week. Always Block keeps an app blocked around the clock.
Schedule Block applies a daily or weekly routine automatically. Usage Limit Block stops an app once its daily time budget is used up.
