Dive into the art of untangling with Knit Out!
Senior reviews editor
Knit Out is a puzzle game from Rollic Games, rated 3+, and it is built around untangling rather than racing. The listing shows 4.13 stars from 66,369 ratings and more than 1,000,000 installs. Its appeal is the calm, colorful loop of clearing knots and matching ropes, which suits people who want a slow puzzle session without a clock.
Each level begins with knots stacked at the top of the board. The developer describes it as a game for unwinding, so it fits short breaks as well as longer sittings.
The build we hold is Knit Out 1.34.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

You clear lines of knots from the top of the board. Doing so releases the ropes underneath, and each rope needs to reach its own bobbin. The job is to work out which bobbins to collect from the grid, and in what order, so every rope finds its match and the level is complete.
Because the ropes all share the same board, the choice of bobbin affects the rest of the level. The listing frames this as the core strategy: picking the right bobbins from the grid is what lets you finish each level.
The listing advertises hundreds of intricate puzzles, so the game offers a long run of levels rather than a short campaign. Each one uses the same rules but a different arrangement of knots, ropes and bobbins.
Color is central to the design. The developer describes a vibrant palette meant to keep the mind sharp, and the ropes and bobbins are told apart by their colors.
There are no timers in Knit Out. Nothing counts down while you think, so a level can be taken at whatever speed suits you.
The listing also mentions satisfying animations and sound effects. These accompany the untangling and matching, giving feedback as the knots clear and the ropes connect.
