What Land Builder is and who it suits
Land Builder is a simulation puzzle game made by SayGames Ltd, rated Everyone. You start with a single hex tile and add more to it, one piece at a time, until the board becomes a map of your own design.
The game suits people who like building without a fail state. Its listing frames it as a calm alternative to harder puzzle games, with soothing music and gentle sound effects.
Placing hex tiles and shaping coastlines
Each turn you place the next hexagonal piece against any piece already on the board. You rotate it so its edges line up with its neighbours, which is how you set the coastlines and the boundaries between towns and open country.
Because a piece can go in any direction, the same set of tiles can produce a village cluster, a string of islands or a dense seaside city. The listing says the layout is up to the player.
Unlocking factories, farms and monuments with stars
Every piece you place earns stars. As the star count rises, the game unlocks new buildings and infrastructure, including factories, farms, oil rigs, monuments and leisure facilities.
These unlocks add variety to the map as it grows. Upgrades to the look of towns, countryside and sea also come as you progress, making the details of each area clearer and more detailed.
Reshaping built land, undo and zoom
Bonuses earned during play let you change land you have already built. You can redesign a section or smooth out an area you are not happy with.
Undo reverses your last move, and the listing says there are no wrong answers or false moves. Zoom controls let you view the full map or inspect individual tiles up close.
