Liv Lite Digital Lifestyle Banking
By Mei-Lin Chua
Contributing editor, apps and storefronts
Liv Lite is a digital bank account for family members, most likely children and teenagers, with a personalised debit card and its own app. The developer describes it as part of the Liv family of services, and the account is opened by a parent or another family member who already holds a Liv account.
That adult applies through the separate LivX app and then asks for the child's Liv Lite account to be created. Once it exists, the child downloads the Liv Lite app to use it.
The build we hold is Liv Lite 26.9.10 (APKS split bundle) for Android 11 and up.

The card can be used for everyday shopping, and the app records where the money goes so spending can be followed over time. The listing says the app lets you track expenses but does not describe the categories or reports it produces.
If the card is lost or stolen, it can be locked straight from the app. The lock takes effect immediately, which is the main way the listing describes handling a missing card.
Allowances are paid for finishing tasks or chores. The listing limits this feature to users aged 8 to 18, so it is aimed at children and teenagers rather than younger kids or adults.
A user can also send a request to a family member from within the app, nudging them to send money. The request is made in the app, and the money is moved by the family member on their side.
The app supports biometric login, so the account can be opened with the device's fingerprint or face unlock in place of typing a password. The listing does not say which biometric methods are supported.
Setup depends on a parent or guardian holding a Liv account first, so the child's account cannot be opened independently of them.
