What this live wallpaper app covers

Live Wallpapers, 4K Wallpapers is a personalization app for Android that puts animated backgrounds, clock faces and still images on the home and lock screens. The listing groups its content into live wallpapers, live clock wallpapers, glitter wallpapers and static images at Full HD and 4K sizes.

It is aimed at people who change their phone background regularly and want something animated or themed.

Browsing and setting live wallpapers

Live wallpapers are sorted into categories, and the listing says there are thousands to pick from. Each one can be set on the home screen, the lock screen, or both.

The developer describes the live backgrounds as hand-made and says they also act as a screensaver.

Live clock and glitter wallpapers

Live clock wallpapers come in analog and digital designs, and both use a parallax effect. The clocks sit on a live background that the listing presents as separate from the static images.

Glitter wallpapers are sparkling backgrounds, also with parallax, meant to restyle the home screen.

Static 4K images and the auto wallpaper changer

Static backgrounds come in 1080x1920 (Full HD) and 2160x3840 (Ultra HD 4K) sizes. The auto wallpaper changer can rotate through these static images as well as live wallpapers.

The changer switches the live wallpapers after a set period, so the home screen changes without you picking a new one each time.
