What Lyric Creator is for
Lyric Creator is Casio's companion app for the CT-S1000V keyboard. It is used to write lyrics on an Android device, so the words can then be sent to the keyboard's Vocal Synthesis feature. The listing covers both lyrics for existing songs and original words.
It suits people who own a CT-S1000V and want to get their own text into the instrument without typing it on the keyboard itself.
Entering English and Japanese lyrics
Lyrics can be typed in English or Japanese on the phone or tablet. The listing presents this as the starting point of the workflow, before any splitting or export.
Favorite song lyrics and new words are handled the same way, so one app covers both.
Splitting lyrics into syllables
Once text is entered, the app divides it into syllables automatically. The listing says this is the default, so most of the work is done before you check it.
You can also set the divisions by hand, and group several syllables together where a word should stay as one unit. The result is that the text is broken up the way you want before it reaches the keyboard.
Setting the meter and exporting to the keyboard
The listing includes a step for setting the meter, which comes before the data is exported. Meter is one of the settings that shape how the lyrics are laid out.
After export, the lyric data is sent to the CT-S1000V, and the listing says the keyboard is then ready to play with the words.
