What Matchington Mansion is and who it suits

Matchington Mansion is a match-3 puzzle game built around home decor. You swap tiles to line up three matching pillows, and each match feeds into renovating a large house. It suits people who like matching puzzles and enjoy the idea of furnishing rooms, rather than players looking for fast action or shooting.

The game is free to play. Optional in-game items can be bought with real money, and in-app purchases can be turned off in the device's settings if you do not want the payment feature available.

Matching pillows and using boosters

The core activity is matching pillows on a board of tiles. Boosters and power-up combinations are available to help clear the board, and the developer describes the puzzles as challenging as you move through the levels.

Combining power-ups is part of the strategy, so a single match can open up more of the board than a plain three-in-a-row would.

Unlocking rooms and decorating the house and garden

Matches earn progress toward hidden areas. The listing describes dozens of rooms, and each one can be redecorated with a selection of DIY decorations, which the developer puts at thousands in total.
