MCAT Lecturio Exam Prep

Who the Lecturio MCAT app is for

Lecturio MCAT is a study app for premed students preparing for the MCAT, the entrance exam for medical school. The developer presents it as a supplement to an existing MCAT study plan rather than a complete course on its own.

It covers all four MCAT sections: Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems, Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (CARS), Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, and Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior.

Video lectures linked to practice questions

The main study material is a set of video lectures. Each lecture is connected to an MCAT question bank, so a student can move from watching a topic to answering questions on it.

The question bank is the practice side of the app. The listing describes the lectures as built for active learning, meaning the student is answering questions rather than only watching.

Recall quizzes, practice tests and concept library

Recall quizzes are built into the study material and are meant for checking what has been remembered. They sit alongside the lectures rather than replacing them.

Full-length practice tests are described as realistic MCAT simulations. A searchable medical concept library lets a student look up specific topics outside a lecture sequence.

Spanish and Portuguese concept translations

Spanish and Portuguese auto-translations are available for key concepts. The listing does not say the full lecture library is translated, only the key concepts.
