Me@Walmart Canada

Walmart's staff app for Canadian stores

Me@Walmart for Canada is Walmart's app for employees in its Canadian stores, and it also includes a public section for people considering a job there. The developer says the staff tools were built from feedback gathered from associates.

Associates must be enrolled in two-step verification to use the internal features. Anyone can use the public side to read about the company.

Clocking in, punch history and shift swaps

Hourly associates can clock in and out for shifts and meals, but the listing says this works only while in store. The punch log shows the full punch history, and punches for the current pay period can be edited or added while the associate is still on the clock.

Hourly associates can also view their schedule, swap shifts, offer shifts, pick up unfilled shifts and submit their availability.

Requesting time off and reporting absences

The app handles time-off requests and absence reports, including reports of a late arrival. The developer groups these with the time and schedule tools, which sit behind the same two-step verification requirement.

Store metrics and Fresh department scores

Metrics shows store figures such as sales, inventory KPIs, CSAT scores, store ranking and NPS scores. Fresh Metrics shows the fresh score, throws and days on hand, along with other figures the listing does not name.

The listing presents both as views of performance numbers for the store.

Learning about Walmart and applying for a job

The public side covers Walmart's history, its cultural values and the benefits it offers. It also lets people apply for a career with Walmart from the app.

The developer presents this part as a way for customers to learn about working at Walmart before they apply.
