A role-playing game built around a story of witches

MementoMori is a role-playing game whose plot follows girls who are called witches. The listing describes them as ordinary people who can use small, unusual powers. Its setting is a land where a calamity spreads and the witches become feared.

The game is built on its story and its look and sound, and the developer's listing gives those three parts the most attention.

The witch hunt at the center of the story

The plot centers on the Church of Longinus, which starts what the listing calls the Witch Hunt. Its reasoning is that the witches are to blame for the calamity, and that removing them will end it.

The story is framed as a tale of justice told through these girls. The listing is short on detail beyond that premise, so the plot is best understood from the premise itself.

Soundtrack and headphone listening

The game's music is a main feature. The developer says songs by many well-known artists are used across the game's world.

The listing recommends playing with earphones or headphones, which suggests the soundtrack is meant to be heard closely.

Character and world design

The developer points to the game's designs as one of its main draws. The listing covers both the characters and the world they live in.

The listing does not say which art styles or design tools were used, so the visual look can only be taken from the developer's own description.
