The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Simple SMS text messaging with scheduling, offline access

Messages is an SMS app for everyday texting. It covers sending and reading text messages, keeping conversations in one place, and managing the chats you care about most. The listing presents it as a single place for texting rather than a companion to another messaging service.
It suits anyone who texts people by phone number and wants to write texts ahead of time. The listing also describes using it to deal with texts that come up after a phone call, without moving between several apps.
The build we hold is Messages: SMS Text Messaging 1.0.9 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

To send a text, you pick someone from your contacts or type in a phone number yourself, write the message and tap send. Incoming texts are shown as conversations in a layout the developer describes as easy to follow.
You can reply to one message or keep a conversation going in the same thread. The writing, sending and chat controls are the familiar ones you would expect from a standard texting app.
Scheduled messages let you write a text now and choose the date and time it should be sent. The listing suggests this for birthday wishes, reminders, updates and other messages you do not want to forget on a busy day.
Before a scheduled text goes out, you can review it. You can also edit its content, change its time or cancel it altogether if plans change.
Messages lets you look up earlier conversations quickly, so an old thread does not have to be scrolled through by hand. Keeping personal and everyday chats together in one app is the stated aim of the organising features.
Taken together, sending, replying, scheduling and searching are the core of the app. The listing describes it as a texting app you use daily rather than a tool for occasional messages.
