mewatch: Watch Video, Movies

What mewatch is and who it suits

mewatch is a streaming app from Mediacorp, built around Singapore's TV output. It puts live channels, on-demand dramas, movies, news and kids' programmes in one place. Content is offered in English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Korean, Thai and Hindi, among others.

Some titles are free and others are premium, so what you can watch depends on which side of that line a programme falls. The mix suits people who want Singapore broadcast channels alongside regional drama and film.

Watching free live TV channels

The live channels include Mediacorp's Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U and Suria, along with Vasantham and CNA. Other free channels cover music, entertainment and lifestyle.

Live events are streamed too, including national celebrations, award shows, concerts, sports, esports and celebrity interviews.

Dramas, movies and anime on demand

On-demand dramas include Mediacorp originals and top series from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia and elsewhere. Movies range from Hollywood blockbusters to Bollywood hits and regional films.

Anime episodes are offered the same day they air, with English subtitles.

Kids' shows and parental controls

The kids' section carries children's shows that the listing describes as ad-free. Parental controls come with this content.

News, sports and live shopping

Live and on-demand news covers Singapore, Asia and the wider world. Sports, esports and concerts appear among the live events.

Exclusive e-commerce livestreams let viewers shop while they watch.
