Minetap combines an idle clicker with merge mechanics and crafting, in a pixel art style. The core loop is mining: you tap to break blocks and collect stone, coal, ore and other materials.
It suits people who like tapping and collecting games, and anyone who wants an RPG-style adventure they can play without a connection. The listing describes it as a pixel-style clicker RPG.
Collected resources can be merged into more complex materials. The listing names two crafting stations for this: the workbench and the forge.
Those materials are used to craft precious gems, armor, weapons and a pickaxe. Each piece of gear is a step up from the materials that went into it.
The adventure mode is where the crafted gear gets used. You fight zombies and other monsters, and the listing says you can craft a weapon to slay them, along with bosses.
The same mode lets you build your own village. The listing also advertises armor skins as a reward or collectible for the fights.
Quests give you goals to work toward while you mine and fight. Completing them and leveling up your character are the progression the listing describes.
