What kind of idle RPG this is
Mobile Legends: Adventure is a role playing game built around idle play. The story follows a prophecy and a threat to the Land of Dawn, and the game is built around a roster of more than 100 heroes.
The developer positions it for short daily play, with sessions of about 10 minutes. Most of the time the heroes fight on their own, so the player's job is mostly to set up a squad and come back to collect what has built up.
Idle battles, resource gathering and hero upgrades
Heroes battle automatically to gather resources while the game is idle. The player deploys a squad with a few taps to fight the evil clones that stand in the way.
Gathered resources feed two kinds of progression: evolving heroes and upgrading their gear. Both are listed as core parts of the game, so resource collection is what drives the squad getting stronger over time.
Moving levels between heroes with level transfer
Level transfer and level sharing let a player move levels onto a newer hero. This is aimed at players who run several lineups and find that resources run short when they level each one.
The features are meant to bring a new hero up to strength faster than leveling it from scratch. The listing names both features but does not describe how transfers are limited or what they cost.
Lineups, bosses and puzzle mazes
The 100+ heroes belong to 7 types, and the developer says team composition decides how well a squad handles difficult bosses and battles against other players. Lining up heroes so their bonus effects stack is part of the strategy.
The game also includes puzzles and mazes to solve between the battle sections. These sit alongside the idle battles rather than replacing them.
