Monkey Junior-English for kids

What Monkey Junior teaches young children

Monkey Junior is an English learning app for children from age 0 to 11, published by EARLY START JOINT STOCK COMPANY. It is split into separate courses, each aimed at a different age range or need. Together the listing says they cover listening, speaking, reading and writing, with the aim of building a working English vocabulary.

The courses for older children sit alongside a few that are not English. Some children will only use the English courses, while others may use the Vietnamese ones too.

Vocabulary and reading with Monkey ABC and Monkey Stories

Monkey ABC teaches vocabulary in six languages, so English words can be learned next to equivalents in other languages. Monkey Stories is a reading comprehension course for children aged 3 to 11. It holds more than 1,000 interactive stories, arranged as a single learning path rather than a loose library.

Pronunciation and speaking practice

Monkey Speak covers pronunciation and everyday communication for children aged 3 to 11. Its M-Speak AI technology assesses how a child pronounces words. The developer describes this technology as exclusive to the app.

Online English lessons with teachers

Monkey Tutoring offers online English lessons with international teachers. It is the one course on the list that works through teachers rather than through the app's own lesson content.

Math and Vietnamese for preschool and primary children

Monkey Math follows the Vietnamese general education math curriculum for preschool and primary school children. VMonkey gives those same age groups a Vietnamese language foundation. Both sit in the same app as the English courses.
