MovieStarPlanet: Classic

What MovieStarPlanet: Classic is and who it suits

This is a retro version of the MovieStarPlanet social dress-up game, aimed at people who played the original community and want to return to it. Players build a MovieStar avatar, collect clothing and join a shared player base. Newcomers can start from the same avatar and wardrobe tools.

The core activity is dressing a character and showing it to other players. Around that sit friends, chatrooms, a home to decorate, pets, creation tools and a set of mini-games with high score rankings.

Dressing a MovieStar avatar and designing clothes

You create a MovieStar avatar and build outfits from the game's fashion catalogue. The developer says some pieces are rare and harder to get than the rest. You can also design your own clothes and use them on your avatar.

Reconnecting with friends and chatting in rooms

The friends feature lets you look for players you knew before and add new ones. Chat happens in rooms themed in the retro style of the original game. Friends and chat are the main way players see each other's avatars and outfits.

Home decorating, pets and mini-games

Your home is a space you can furnish and decorate. Pets and Boonies sit alongside it, and you look after them as part of the daily routine. Mini-games let you play against other players, with a MovieStar high score leaderboard showing who ranks at the top.

Making looks, art books and movies with stickers

The creation tools let you make looks, fashion pieces, art books and movies. Each one uses built-in animations and a library of stickers. These are the main outlet for putting your avatar and clothing designs into something you can show other people.
