My Radio, FM Radio Stations: Live AM and FM Radio App

By Trang Nguyen

Editor, media and streaming

Over 50,000 online AM and FM stations, according to the developer
Local stations for New York, California and Texas
News, sports, comedy and public radio alongside music genres
World stations from Europe, Latin America, Brazil and Asia
US networks including NPR, CNN Radio, Fox News Radio and ESPN

What My Radio is for

My Radio, FM Radio Stations is a radio app that streams live AM and FM broadcasts over the internet. The listing describes it as an internet radio app, so the stations come to the phone as streams rather than through a built-in tuner.

Its main use is choosing a station quickly and listening to it. The developer says it covers more than 50,000 online stations, which puts it aimed at people who want a wide choice of live programming, from national news to a local morning show.

Finding stations by genre and format

Stations are organized by format. The listing names live news and talk, sports, comedy, public radio and HD radio, alongside music genres such as adult contemporary, rock, pop, oldies, instrumental, hip-hop and gospel.

A listener who wants a particular kind of programming can go to that format and skip the rest. Someone looking for sports or talk shows does not have to scan music stations to find them.

Local US stations and national networks

The listing gives local US coverage for New York, California and Texas, and names several stations and networks by call sign or brand. These include KISS FM 102.7 and WHTZ from iHeartRadio, plus national feeds like NPR Public Radio, CNN Radio, Fox News Radio, ESPN and NBC Sports.

This suits someone who wants a local station for news or traffic in a particular state, or who follows a specific sports or news network. The named stations are the developer's examples, and the wider catalogue is larger.

World stations by country and region

Beyond the US, the listing points to FM stations from the UK, France, Italy and Spain, along with Latin America and Brazil. It also lists stations from Japan, Korea, China, India and the rest of Asia.

Someone who wants to hear a station from home while abroad, or who is learning a language through its radio, can find broadcasts by country here. The listing does not break these down further by city.
