What MyRadar Weather Radar is for

MyRadar Weather Radar is a weather app built around a radar map. When you open it, the map shows your location with live radar already drawn over it.

The developer presents it as a quick way to see what weather is moving toward you, which suits people who want a check before heading out or planning the day.

Live animated radar around your location

The radar is animated, so you see how precipitation is moving rather than a single still frame. Loops run up to two hours in length, which gives a view of what is already on its way.

The listing describes this radar view as the core of the app and the quickest route to a snapshot of conditions on the move.

Hyperlocal rain alerts

The app's summary lists hyperlocal rain alerts as a feature, and the developer says the technology behind them is patent-pending.

The alerts are tied to the area around you rather than a city or region as a whole, based on the listing's wording.

Using it for a daily weather check

The developer describes checking the phone as a way to get an immediate read on weather that will affect the rest of the day.

Because the radar opens on your location, the check takes no navigation. You see the map and the loop as soon as the app starts.
