What MyToast covers for restaurant staff

MyToast is a mobile app for people who work at Toast restaurants. It shows an employee's own work records, including the shifts they have worked or are scheduled for.

Each shift can be opened to see its clock-in and clock-out times, breaks and tips. The listing addresses team members, not restaurant managers.

Checking past and upcoming shifts

The app lists past and upcoming shifts in one place. Opening a shift shows the times logged for it and any tips recorded against it.

Break entries appear within the shift details, so a worker can compare what was logged against their schedule.

Earnings and W-2 forms through Toast Payroll

Earnings are shown by shift and by pay period. This only works for team members paid through Toast Payroll.

Active Toast Payroll employees can also open their Form W-2 in the app, so tax paperwork sits alongside pay history.

Sales stats under the My Reports permission

Staff who have the My Reports permission can view their stats. The listing names three measures: sales, average order and guests served.

Without that permission, these stats are not available in the app.

Toast Pay Card and PayOuts

If the employer makes it available, a team member can order and activate a Toast Pay Card from the app. The card is issued by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC, under a Mastercard license, and is limited to Toast Payroll customers.

Toast PayOuts is a related program funded by a 0% line of credit that Toast issues to employers under the employer's Credit Agreement. The listing says Toast can change or discontinue the program at any time.
