What the Nelko app is for

Nelko is a companion app for Nelko label printers and instant photo printers. You design a label or photo in the app and send it to the printer. The developer lists organizing a workspace, decorating a journal and printing instant photos as the main uses.

It suits people who already own a Nelko printer and want to make their own labels, stickers or photo prints. The developer says it connects to all Nelko products.

Templates, stickers and icons for labels

The library holds more than 1,000 templates, customizable stickers and icons, which the developer says is updated regularly. You can start from a template and change it to fit a bin, a shelf or a journal page.

Stickers and icons can be customized in the same way, so a standard element can be adjusted before it is printed.

Generating AI artwork and cutting out shapes

Typing keywords generates AI artwork, which the developer describes as original. The artwork can then be used in a design and printed like any other element.

The smart cutout feature removes the background from an image in one step. The developer lists this as a way to print a subject on a custom shape rather than a rectangle.

Adjusting fonts, layouts and printing

The text and layout controls cover a wide choice of fonts, layouts and formatting options. These let you adjust each label or photo so it matches the rest of a set.

Finished designs are sent from the app to a Nelko printer. The developer lists printing to any Nelko product as one of its core functions.
