What version 2.29 changes
Version 2.29 of Dark Mode reached the APKCube archive on 4 October 2026. The developer, Julian Eggers, lists three changes in the release notes.
The first is night mode support for some devices running Android 11 and Android 12. The second is the removal of old functionality that, according to the developer, no longer works on recent Android versions. The third is a Czech translation.
The notes say "some" Android 11 and 12 devices, so the support does not cover every phone on those versions.
Not a new release
The build is not fresh from the developer. APKMirror lists version 2.29 as uploaded on 12 July 2022, and Google Play's listing for the app shows the same July 2022 update date. The version arrived here on 4 October 2026, which is the only part APKCube observed directly.
