New build replaces last week's release
Version 26.38.232 of Klarna: Smarter everyday money reached APKCube's archive on September 25, 2026, taking the place of build 26.37.262, which had arrived just over a week earlier on September 16.
Klarna's own release notes for the update describe an app meant to put shoppers in control of every purchase, letting them pay in ways that fit their budget even at stores that have no partnership with Klarna. The developer also points to cashback of up to 10 percent on purchases, a running view of upcoming payments, and real-time updates on account activity, alongside what it calls minor fixes.
Part of a busier year for the company
The update lands during a stretch in which Klarna has been pushing its payment options into more places. In mid May 2026, Finextra reported that Americans shopping in the Gemini app or Google Search, including AI mode, will soon be able to pay using BNPL options from Klarna and Affirm via Google Pay. Around the same time, Finextra also reported that Swedish fintech firm Klarna broke even for the first time since it announced its $15 billion New York IPO last September.
